Ladies with starts after their names* participated in Senior Russian Nationals.

1. Olga BOBRYASHOVA*

Violet dress. Some fast piano music. She skated first in SP at Seniors, and she did so now. She landed 3F/2T, 2L out of steps, 2A (three turn). Backward Bielmann and good spirals. Unfortunately she slowed down at the end. Judges said her base mark is 4.5/4.6

4.3 4.3 4.0 4.2 4.2 4.0 4.0 4.0 4.3
4.5 4.4 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

2. Tatyana BASOVA

Cyan and white dress. 3L, 1R, good but not very intricate spirals, 2A. Good speed, but not "presence" she seems to be too much concentrated. Backward Bielmann.

4.0 3.9 4.2 4.0 4.3 3.9 3.6 3.9 4.1
4.6 4.3 5.0 4.6 4.9 4.4 4.4 4.4 4.5

3. Olga STEPANOVA*

Olga had the new dress for her program, her music seems to be unusual selections from Carmen. Not very clean skating. Spiral to 2A, 3L (three turn), and 1R/1T. Good spins and spirals, very charming lady, but...

4.4 3.8 3.9 3.4 4.2 4.1 4.1 4.4 3.9
5.2 4.4 4.8 4.7 5.1 5.0 4.8 5.0 4.7

4. Daria TIMOSHENKO*

Her music was begun as a kind of lulabies but turned out to be drums. Good program, but not clean performance. Fall on 3F, 3L excellent extention on spirals, 2A. She replaced her magnificent flying camel with flying sit spin which didn't look as impressive, but is very decent. Double Bielmann. She was disappointed.

5.3 5.3 5.6 5.3 5.3 5.4 5.3 5.2 5.5

5. Ekaterina VASILIEVA -- Yesterday.

Very young girl. She looked 10, it was strange to see her warming up with ladies like Bukareva who was a couple of heads higher. But her performance was a pleasant surprise for me, she had excellent feeling of music and ability to interpret it. Her jumps were not there, though. 2A, fell on 3S/1T, 2L. Good spins and spirals.

4.7 4.1 4.3 4.4 4.4 4.4 4.7 4.6 4.1

6. Svetlana BUKAREVA*

Skated to a kind of tangoesque music, could be a soundtrack of an old movies, it sounds that way. 3L, 3R (fall), 2A. Good and rather intirate program, but she didn't put much emotions into her skating.

4.6 4.8 4.8 4.4 4.7 4.8 4.7 4.9 4.9
5.2 5.3 5.4 4.9 5.3 5.2 5.4 5.4 5.4

7. Kristina OBLASOVA*

Pink dress. Her music was a something light, it sounds like a soundtrack of Sense and Sensibility or something like it. Her skating was romantical and light too, she skated with tentative smile at her face and it was cute. 2A, fell on 3L, 3F. After she finished she shaked her head as if saying "Well, what is done is done". Very gentle and interesting program.

4.5 4.6 4.8 4.2 4.8 4.6 4.5 4.4 4.7
4.9 5.0 5.3 5.1 5.2 5.2 5.2 4.9 5.2

8. Irina SPIRINA

Dark red dress and white gloves. Fall on 3S, 3T, 1A. She looked a bit unsecure and slow during step sequence and her performance was rather emotionless.

3.0 3.0 3.2 3.0 3.1 3.2 3.0 3.7 3.1
4.3 4.1 4.1 4.2 4.1 4.3 4.3 4.5 4.0

9. Tatyana VASINA

Elegant black dress. I was very much impressed by her skating. The program contains a lot of intricate choreography and she was happy after clean performance. Her jumps were 3F/2T, 3L, 2A. Decent spins, spirals and lots of in between. Her marks were way lower than I expected. I was especially surprised with 4.2 as second mark, probably there were some technical mistakes - not enough steps preceding the single jump, or not enough rotations on spins, but the program was very good and interesting.

4.6 4.5 4.5 4.9 5.0 4.7 4.4 4.4 4.8
5.1 4.8 4.9 5.1 4.9 5.2 4.2 5.1 4.1

10. Natalya RYZHOVA*

Light blue and white lace dress. Energetic music and skating. Jumps: 3L, 3F/2T and 2A. Good steps and spirals.

5.4 5.2 5.2 4.8 5.0 5.6 5.0 5.2 5.4

11. Irina TKACHUK

Her music was something old fashioned, like foxtrot... 3L, 3R/2T, 2A. Very good flying forward sit spin, but not very fast spirals. Backward Bielmann.

5.3 5.3 5.3 5.0 4.9 5.2 5.2 4.8 5.3
5.5 5.3 5.4 4.7 5.1 5.3 5.5 4.9 5.3

12. Maria BUBENIKHINA

Young lady, 12 or so. fall on 3L, 1A, 3F/2T (fall). The program had decent choreographical content.

3.4 3.8 3.4 3.8 3.5 3.8 3.6 3.9 3.4
4.7 4.6 4.6 4.8 4.7 5.0 4.7 4.6 4.4

13. Maria KOZHINA

She slightly resembles Viktoria Volchkova. 3L (three turn), 3S/2T, 2A. So-so flying sit spin. While the program was decent, the performance was not, it looked as if she is doing a run through in the end of the long and exhausting training, not like a skating at real competition.

4.6 4.4 4.5 4.2 4.5 4.3 3.9 4.0 3.9
4.7 4.7 4.5 4.4 4.5 4.5 4.4 4.3 4.5

14. Anna AGAPOVA

Something eastern. Bright neon orange dress with gold.Interesting though what she weared flesh coloured gloves. 3S(df)/2T, 2A, 2F.
