In order of appearance. Line divide groups.

1. Olga STEPANOVA -- Romeo and Juliet (?).

Peach coloured dress. My best guess is what her music is Prokofiev, but I'm not sure. Once again her jumps were off, but everything else was very good. She is gentle, smooth, elegant skater and was very pleasant to watch. A bit too tentative, though. Her jumps - 2A, 3L (fall), 3T, 2R, 2F/2T, 2S (step out), 2A.

2. Tatyana ZAITSEVA

White dress. 2A, 3F, 3T, 2L, 3R (fall), 3S (step out and fall), 3R (fall). Very good camel spin and spirals (including change of edge one). Impressive start of the program, very gentle one, but she wasn't able to overcome mistakes.

3. Svetlana CHERNYSHEVA

Black dress. 3L/2T, 3F (touch down), 3S/half loop/2S, 3R, 2T, 1A, 1T (hit the board).

4. Natalya RYZHOVA

Very elegant dark blue dress with silver flowers, she used to wear at last season Nationals. Unfortunately she wasn't quite succesful - landed 1L, 3S, 3R, 2A, 2T, 1L, 2A (fall), 2T/2T (or 2T/3T). Stumbled at camel spin.

5. Olga BOBRYASHOVA -- various tunes including New York, New York.

Olga attempted 3/3 combo at warm up (I may be mistaken though). Her dress was black and orange, top of dress was orange, and the black parts was silouttes of skyscrapers, I guess. Her jumps 3L (fall), split jump to 3F, 1F, 3S (stepped out), 2L, 2A. Bielmann spin at both directions.

6. Anastasia RATKOVSKAYA

Pink, light blue, liliac dress. Her jumps were 3L/2T, 2S/steps/3T, 3R (three turn), 3F, 2T, 2A, 3L (fall). She was supposed to do 3S//3T, at least she was complaining about missing her "favourite" 3S, after the event, she also said she was surprised to land 3R.

7. Daria TIMOSHENKO

Light blue dress, skated to some kind of modern music. I was very much impressed with her skating this season. Very elegant. Her skating was one of the cleanest. She landed 2A, 3T, 3L/2T, 3R, 3T (three turn, hand)/2T, 3S (double footed)/2R. Impressive spins as usual, including double Bielmann.

8. Kristina OBLASOVA

White dress. 3L, 3T, 3F, 3R (double footed), 2L (fall), 2A, 3S/steps/3T (underroted). Interesting skater, but not polished yet.

9. Svetlana BUKAREVA

Black and white. 3L/2T, 3F , 3R (fall), 2S, 3R/2T, 3T (fall), 2S. She is coached by Vodorezova. Nice and clean, but she lost LP to Timochenko.

10. Ekaterina KASPER

Dark red with gold. Skated to some Arabian music. Her jumps 2A, 3F (step out), 1S, 1L, 3R (fall), 3T, 3T(step out), 2T. Good spins.

11. Maria BUTYRSKAYA -- Swan Lake

Maria drew to skate first in the last warm up group. Unfortunately compared to the last season level of performance in Ladies LP, this season's one sucks. None of the top ladies were clean. Maria just begin the trend. She nearly missed her opening 3L, but managed to held it properly. I was sure she would fall, but she even didn't put her hand down! It was pretty impressive thing, such a balance. Unfortunately she fell at her 3F later, but landed clean 3S/half loop/3T (the only 3/3 combo of the event), fall on her 3R, 3R/2T, 2A, 3T.

She was rather disappointed after the program and the audience did its best to cheer her up. Tonnes of flowers once again. In one of her interviews she said what she felt "empty" during LP, she was definitely upset with the car accident and it cost her training time and nervers, but she skated clean at SP, because she was angry and felt she "must prove" it to someone if the accident was skating related, but after SP was over, she suddenly felt tired and exhausted. I liked both her program and her costume. But I guess she need to skate it several times before she finaly will "feel" it.

12. Yulia SOLDATOVA

The same pink and green dress I dislike at Cup of Russia. The same program too, though I hoped she would reworked the choreography. First part of the program was a real disaster. 3S (stepped out and fall, probably was too fast at entering it), 3L (fall), she slowed down for some time, and I don't think it was required by the program, 1F, 3R, 2A/2T, 3L, 3T. Not very impressive skating, and she was disappointed.

13. Elena SOKOLOVA

Last season program, but new liliac and pink dress. It was not her night, and I'm afraid she didn't have much chances to be at Russian Team ever again, unless some drastic changes (like Slute), the judges just don't like her. Probably they see something I did not. 3L/2T (three turn), 1F/steps/2T, 1R, 1F, 3S, 3R, 2S/steps/3T. I liked her better than Soldatova but judges desided againist.

14. Irina NIKOLAEVA - Umberellas of Cherbourg

Transparent black dress, with black leaves. One of the cleanest performances. 3R/half loop/3S (or 2S, not sure), 3L (fall), 3F, 3L, 2A, 3T. Lovely hands, and her unusual Bielmann spin. She was really happy with her performance and so was Tarasova. Didn't know why she was placed lower than Soldatova.

15. Viktoria VOLCHKOVA

New dress, bright pink with black net over it, which make it looks rather red than pink. Unlike ladies before her she didn't fall that much, but popped many her jumps instead. 1L, 2F, 3R, 3S, 1T, 3T (touch down), 3L, 3F (fall), 2A. It was amasing set, considering the fact what edge jumps is her weakness, and toe ones is her "forte", but... She was really disappointed, not happy at all. I was wondering about her placement and discovered what most of the judges put her ahead of Soldatova, probably they give higher base mark for her program. In fact I believe what skated clean this program is better than Yulia's and her jumps when they are "on" are really impressive. During the exhibitions she looked head and shoulders ahead Soldatova and landed clean and high 3L (can't help wondering how many ladies will even include it at their exhibition program).

16. Irina SLUTSKAYA -- Carmen

Before she started she demanded the ice cleaning, because there were the "remains" of the flowers at the corners, in fact it took about 3 minutes to put everything in order. The audience really loved Irina, and cheered for her a lot. She skated her Carmen with lots of confidence and emotions, it was clearly the best performance. 3L, 3S/2R, 3L (fall), 3R, 3F, 2A, 3T. With (presumbaly) second combo (and I've heard she is landing 3L/3R at practices) Irina is certainly a serious World medal (even gold one) contender this season. Her program was absolutely admirable in my opinion.
